Hey All,
Hope everybody had a really good weekend. Getting ready for the Holidaze, it's that most wonderful (or stressful) time of year... hahaha
Okay, I want to tell you all about one of lead members, Kathleen Antonia and her new solo jazz album that I helped her engineer and produce.
Kathleen has recorded at BaySounds and did an very heartfelt and amazing album of jazz standards with piano accompaniment with a bonus track of an original song she wrote and played guitar on.
It's such a sweet sentimental journey showcasing her emotional range as a singer. Just to let you all know on a secret, she just rocked the house at our LFB CD release party a few weeks ago. She performed three songs, one song from her solo album "I'll Be Seeing You (In All the Old Familiar Places)", plus did a touching yet sassy tribute to Jo-Carol, our band member who passed away in our formative year, doing "Everywoman" and brought her beau Chris up on stage for some impromptu performances, and then ruled with "Body Electric remix" in the LFB Dance Medley
But in this blog I really want to give her props as a singer, with us, and solo, as an actor featured in national and international films, stage plays up and down over the west coast and even some very high-profile national commercials even with a one-liner saying "wow" in a two second spot that has shown up on all our tv shows thousands and thousands of times for the past year or two.
Kudos and love to you Kathleen.
Before I forget, let me send you to her myspace site, if you haven't already clicked on her profiles on this site.

Support an blossoming talent and buy her album "Next Time". It's the perfect Christmas gift for any one in your family and friends who love jazz and the vocal standards that EVERY type of folk all can recognize and enjoy.
Sending everyone love this Sunday night,
LEO
